The red signature wine made by Bodegas Castelo de Medina obtained in Germany one of the few national and international awards that the wine had not gotten.
During the first days of March, the most important wine contest in Germany, MUNDUS Vini, has celebrated a new edition. It has been the first spring edition of the contest that usually celebrates in summer.
In the 2014 spring edition of MUNDUS Vini, a Castelo de Medina wine has been awarded, specifically, Syté 2008 that obtained a Silver Medal in the contest.
It is not the first award of our Syté 2008 because the wine has been awarded in international contest like Concours Mondial du Bruxelles (Gold Medal in 2012), Zarcillo Awards (Silver Medal in 2013) or Decanter Worldwide Awards (Bronze Medal in 2013).
Furthermore, Syté 2008 is a good rated wine in reference guides like Penin Guide or Repsol Guide where the Castelo de Medina wine always has obtained scores above 90 points.
MUNDUS Vini was born in 2001 in Germany and it is the most important German wine competition because 6.000 wines from around the world participate earch year.
In 2014 the jury was composed by 250 tasters arrived from 45 countries from around the world.
